Privacy Policy

Square One Property Management (“we,” “us”) operates squareoneproperty.com as a static marketing site. This policy explains what little data this site itself collects and where the bulk of tenant data is actually processed.

What this site collects

This is a static HTML site hosted on Cloudflare Pages. It does not run any backend, database, or form processor of its own. When you visit:

Cloudflare server logs record the usual web-request metadata: IP address, user-agent string, referring page, and the URL you requested. These logs exist for security (blocking bots, DDoS) and are retained per Cloudflare’s standard policy. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy.
Cloudflare Web Analytics records aggregate, anonymous pageview counts (page URL, country, browser, referrer). It uses no cookies and does not track individuals across sites. No personal data.

We do not use advertising trackers, retargeting pixels, or third-party cookies. We do not sell any data.

Where tenant data actually lives (Buildium)

Rental applications, contact-form submissions, resident portals, rent payments, and maintenance requests are all processed by our property management platform, Buildium (RealPage, Inc.), at squareoneproperty.managebuilding.com. When you click “Apply Now,” “Open Contact Form,” “Pay Rent,” or “Submit a Maintenance Request,” you leave this marketing site and enter Buildium’s hosted system. Anything you type into those screens (name, contact info, SSN, income, payment details, maintenance requests, messages) is collected, processed, and stored by Buildium on our behalf.

Two Buildium policies govern what happens to that data, and we recommend reading both before submitting an application or payment:

Buildium Privacy Policy covers what personal information Buildium collects, how it’s used, who it’s shared with (including credit and background check vendors during the application flow), cookie behavior, and your rights to access, correct, or delete your data.
Buildium Security Policy describes the safeguards Buildium uses to protect that data: encryption in transit and at rest, SOC 2-aligned controls, payment handling via PCI-compliant processors, infrastructure security, and breach-response obligations.

Square One separately holds the lease, rent ledger, and maintenance history for each resident. We handle that information under our own property-management data practices. Contact us using the details below if you want to review what we hold about you specifically.

Third-party services this site loads

Beyond Cloudflare, the only third parties this site itself loads are:

Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com, fonts.gstatic.com) for the site typeface.
Google Maps (maps.googleapis.com, maps.gstatic.com) to render the Communities map and pins. Your browser's IP address and general location are shared with Google when the map loads, per Google's Privacy Policy.
Unsplash / Buildium image CDNs for listing photos.
Buildium (iframes for the contact form, apply flow, and resident login).

These hosts receive standard HTTP request metadata when your browser fetches a font, a map tile, or a listing photo. None receive any form data from this site.

Cookies

This marketing site sets no cookies of its own. Buildium (a separate domain) may set session cookies when you sign in to the resident portal or begin an application, those are covered by Buildium’s privacy policy.

Your choices

Use browser-level tracking protection (Safari, Firefox, Brave, or uBlock Origin) to block the Cloudflare Analytics beacon.
Disable JavaScript. The marketing site’s text content still works without it.
Contact us (below) to ask what information we hold about you as a prospect or resident, and to request correction or deletion where applicable.

Children

This site is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect information from children. Applications require applicants to be of legal age to enter a rental contract.

Changes to this policy

If we make material changes we’ll update the effective date above and post the new version at this URL. The previous version is always recoverable from the site’s git history.
